Cars in German City Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Authorities stated they were notified by a individual who noticed a automobile in Hanau covered with reddish liquid

Around 50 automobiles have been covered with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postal boxes were marked, in some cases with Nazi symbols, they stated in a release.

Police say they were contacted late on Wednesday, when a resident observed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish liquid.

The substance had been drawn in the shape of a swastika, they stated.

Officers then discovered numerous other smeared automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police report preliminary tests suggest the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to its origin; authorities are not yet informed of any physical harm in association with the event," they commented.

City officials stated they were attempting "to solve the case" and have requested to the public for information.

A senior representative said the vandalism rendered him stunned and needed to be resolved quickly.

"This event strikes at the very heart of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the right-wing violent incident in 2020," he posted on social media, mentioning the killing of nine individuals by a shooter aiming at people of immigrant origin in five years prior.
